History

Tony and Michael started Styline Kitchens in 1987, but their journey started well before that.

Tony remembers growing a passion for wood at the age of 12 when his dad came home with a truck load of firewood from a furniture factory and he collected the largest and cleanest pieces of timber and made furniture from it.

From there, Tony knew that he wanted to be a cabinet maker. His passion to be a cabinet maker was so strong that he went against his school teachers’ advice to pursue his career in Architecture.

Tony went on to do a Tafe course in cabinet making and when completed, he started a Carpentry and Joinery course.

Michael, Tony’s youngest brother, remembers admiring his brother's skills and his talent to create furniture. Michael also loved to create furniture for the home with a different touch, adding furnishing fabrics to his furniture. Michael completed a Tafe Upholstery Course.

The Arcuri brothers’ unique feature and talent is to have both mastered in their own trades: Cabinet Making and Upholstery. Tony and Michael both achieved NSW Apprentice of the Year for their respective trades.
